Paris, Heaven for Foodies and Heiratage Lovers - Le Grand Colbert

Le Grand Colbert is one of the restaurants I would visit again if I go Paris again. My friend picked this restaurant because of the movie "Something's Gotta Give".

Beautiful atmosphere and classic French settings made the dining a wonderful experience.

Talking about drink and food, both are in the supreme quality. My friend loves their wine list which numbers of good wine are in. We had a red wine of 2006, a perfect match of all culinary delights of the night.

Grey shrimps was a dish recommended by my friend. Tiny in size but great in taste. The freshness and sweetness of the shrimps was so impressive that it's hardly for me to forget. They are my number 2 of the night.

My friend prefers duck Fresh duck foie gras to the goose version. Similarly, the texture of the duck version is silky. However, it carries strong or wilder taste. The jellies on the side tasted too salty however.

It is silly not to have escargots, a signature dish of France in Paris. These pieces are relatively big and yummy with the seasonings.

Here's my favorite dish of the night and the trip - beef tartare. Hygiene is crucial for preparing raw meat. The restaurant made it as I felt great after having the dish. The taste was unbeatable for the onion and pepper, etc. mixed well with minced beef. The tiny bit spicy flavor further enriched the taste of the dish. Awesome!
.

Yummy side dishes.
