Paris, Heaven for Foodies and Heiratage Lovers - Le Petit Colbert

My trip started with a lucky sign - a ground staff upgraded my flight class when I dropped off luggage at the airport counter. Yeah! With the relatively spacious seat and welcoming services, I had an enjoyable flight.

Talking about the first day of my trip, it was around dinner time. My friend made an online reservation at a quite famous restaurant, yet, it was under summer break when we arrived. Then, we wandered around. Lucky we found Le Petit Colbert, a restaurant with pleasant ambiance. More importantly, its professional and friendly service marked the highest score among the restaurants I visited in the trip.

Chateldon, a famous natural carbonated mineral water because it was once exclusive for the French monarchy. The local government imposes restrictions on production now to protect the rare supply.

Foie Gras, a must-try food in France.  This restaurant made it creamy and strong in taste. Even the tomatoes and peas were yummy. This dish was definitely a good start of my gourmet trip.

The mushroom-like food was actually a veal kidney, one of famous French dishes. Tender texture and special taste did impress me. French chefs are good at turning neglected offal into great delicacy. Besides, my friend said the french fries were the best ever had.

I only recognized this friendly and lovely gem is a sibling of a traditional French restaurant, Le Grand Colbert. Both are my recommendations in Paris.
