The Great Ocean Road - Episode 7: The Best Motel on the Great Ocean Road, Ocean Lodge

Day 1: Geelong > Torquay > Anglesea > Aireys Inlet > Lorne (and Night 2)

My friend decided to stay in Lorne after found this motel.

Spacious room, comfortable beds, kitchenette, etc in room. Ok, ok, these are probably common.

How about a large and beautiful garden?

Even birdies were attracted to relax here.

What if the motel unit comes with private balcony? Appreciate the change of the sky over time quietly. I did feel so peaceful and relaxing.

At night, the Australian MasterChef To Be converted the outdoor electronic barbeque into own performance stage.  It was a creation test in which steak was the chosen core ingredient.

The MasterChef To Be was showing off own skills.
Times up! Overall, the yummy dish was in pretty good presentation. The steak could be tenderer as the only customer preferred medium rare. For the vegetables, a bit more flavor could make them even better. The customer appreciated the chef's good try.

2 funny recap of the day. Firstly, the bushes moved while we were having dinner at the picnic area. I was scared. The chef  said there should be mouses looking for food made me felt worse. Lucky we found out the visitor was only a little rodent. Moving plants in dark really frightened a cement jungle resident like me.

Next, we heard some strong noise while chatting at the private balcony. Was it from trucks? No. Was it from a party? No. Was it from machines? No. The answer came out the next day in the pier. The noise was from the water. The power of the ocean could not be underestimated.
