Sydney, A City in Another Hemisphere - In Love with the Night

It was the night time when we arrived Sydney from Melbourne. What to do? The chauffeur proposed to see famous Sydney night view.

You can't avoid the Sydney Harbour Bridge if you are on the harbour side. The light spot on top is the moon. Hm.... I was not very familiar with my new Canon Powershot S100 yet.

The bridge links up the Sydney CBD and the north shore. It also serves as the stage for fireworks. Australia is the first place to welcome New Year in the world. Hope I can catch the New Year fireworks show next time. For those who chase for thrilling challenge, you can try the bridge climb. Another prerequisite is you are willing to pay.

Sydney Opera House, its unique shell shape outlook makes it a prominent landmark in Sydney. Many artists consider it's an honour to deliver a performance here.

Can see more details of the design from the front side.

Lunar Park is one of the neighbours of the 2 landmarks. The park has a sibling in St Kilda Beach, Melbourne.

A choice for wedding photo shooting. The chauffeur said the government planned to build houses along the harbour for big profit. But the plan was called off due to strong objections from the society. Lucky, the harbour is still open for everybody.

Not sure the implication of this sculpture. Anyway, the rock looks cute yet violent.Well, time to bed. Good night!
