I prefer ferry ride to cruise for the former is more casual and reasonably priced. Yet, it's partly true to the Staten Island Ferry for the it provides free services 24-hour everyday. The ferry is a perfect choice if you just wanna to say hi to the Statue of Liberty from distance.
