Lamma Fisherfolk's Village

Sok Kwu Wan on Lamma Island is where the largest fish farming site is. In addition to have a seafood meal as most visitors do, you can find out more about the traditional lives of fishermen in the past from the Lamma Fisherfolk's Village, an expanding local sightseeing spot on the island.

Gold and silver dragon boats send greetings to visitors.

Old fish boat, the floating workplace and home of fishermen. Due to soaring oil price, maintenance fee, it's too costly to set sail again.

A small corner inside the boat serves as kitchen.

Star fishes.

This fish looks like a plane.

Experience fishing without hook but a frozen fish. It's fun.

Visitors can view the old cement factory from the village clearly. Well, it has been part of history now.

I enjoy the visit for it's a good way to learn more about the local history.
