Sydney, A City in Another Hemisphere - Morning Walk at The Royal Botanic Garden & Domain

Having a morning walk in the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden & Domain was certainly a good start of the day.

Walk on the grass to feel the amazing nature.

Take a seat. Take a break. To have peace of mind at this quiet corner of the garden.

The shape of this tree is very special. Just like those appear in cartoon. Cute!

Australians probably love nature very much. See, these rocks got identity card as well.

The garden is also the best place to appreciate the splendid Sydney Habour. The seats was for audience of a special performance on the water.

Opera on Sydney Harbour was the selling point of La Travaita held during Easter 2012. The extraordinary backdrop of the opera consisted of the natural Sydney Harbour, the arch-like Sydney Harbour Bridge and the award-winning Sydney Opera House.

Sydney, A City in Another Hemisphere - Manly Beach

Feel bad that I did not find any wild penguin in Melbourne. The chauffeur suggested to try luck at Manly Beach.

An attractive candy stall at the pier.

Yeah! A notice board listing details of little penguins. Probably there are quite many around?

"Watch Out! Penguins About" The chance of meeting wild penguin seemed not thin.

It's said penguins usually back to their home under boardwalk around sun set. So, took a walk around the small city beach first.

A Pathway for outstanding sportsmen.

Equal opportunities Honour is for both Olympians and Paralympians.

Always saw people fishing. I wonder if fishing is a compulsory course in Australian education.

A beautiful house on another side of the beach.

Uncle McDonald from the US adapted the Aussie lifestyle well.

Awaiting wild penguins home on the boardwalk.

"Hei, Ray! Do you know what time will your penguin friends home?" human asked.
"Be patient," Ray answered.
Did sunset time mean home time? Pity I still did not see any wild penguin. May be the little penguins were too shy. Felt very disappointed again.

Sydney, A City in Another Hemisphere - Roar at Taronga Zoo

I would travel the whole Australia to find out all its unique scenery and animals. However, I don't have the time and budget to do yet. Therefore, I visited the Australian buddies and their exotic friends in Taronga Zoo. The zoo is large and you better spend a whole day in it.

All kinds of penguins in the world.

These little penguins were hyperactive during feeding time.

The 2 little penguins understood they had to find luck (food) in proactive approach.

Furry Tasmania Devil looks so cute. Yet, it is a meat lover. Be careful.

Australian icons: huge kangaroo and small wallaby.

Regardless wild or protected, koalas are sleep lover.

Platypus is a special animal carries features of different categories. It likes a bird as it lays eggs and has a duck-like bill. It likes a land animal as it runs on land and has fur on. It likes a fish as it is a good swimmer with webbed feet.

This pelican looks royal with open wings.

Not sure if this dark swan is from the Swan Lake.

This pretty visitor was either finding food or building home.

Is gorilla really a relative of human being?

Poor Bambi is being locked up.

These two binturongs were having a relaxing day.

Fishing cat is a good hunter. But it was busy sleeping at a dark corner.

Other big cats were having beautiful sleep as well. The best past time in a hot day and the best way to forget flies around.

Goats on rocky exhibit which is simulated from their original home.

The bongo was very shy to the camera.
Brazilian tapir looks funny. It is a vegetarian though it's huge in size.
Visitors were busy feeding while the giraffes were busy eating.

"Attention! Sit straight!"

The zoo is pretty well-designed. This cable car allows you to overlook the zoo.

Love this statute unit illustrates evolution of bird in a simple and lively way.

Some old facilities are still well kept to show the past in the zoo. The left is elephant temple while the right is closed old aquarium.

A small beach like-corner where kids are crazy for.

Besides of animals, the zoo is also famous of its spectacular view. Great scene to see 2 ironic landmarks together from one angle.

White yachts swimming in the blue sea.

A plane drew a big heart in the sky. A lovely blessing.
